About Madd

Hi there! I'm Maddie, the curator behind MaddFinds.

Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs – my parents are landscape architects who built their own successful firm – I was immersed in the world of design from a young age. I attended client meetings, absorbing discussions about shaping urban spaces and fostering a love for creativity and unique solutions. This naturally translated into my own entrepreneurial spirit early on, like my "business" selling homemade hair bows during recess.

This love for creating and finding unique things has been a constant in my life. Even as a child, I was a bit of a hoarder (in the best possible way!), collecting rocks, bottle caps, and anything shiny I could get my hands on. This early collecting phase evolved into a passion for all things vintage, handmade, and ethically sourced.

Fast forward to adulthood, my travels have become treasure hunts. From bustling markets in India to hidden antique shops in Italy, I've brought back one-of-a-kind finds for friends and family – and they've loved them!

MaddFinds is born from that joy of discovery. This is your go-to spot for unique and unusual gifts, where you'll find a curated collection of imperfect perfection – think handmade ceramics with charming quirks, vintage finds with stories to tell, and sourced goods from small businesses. You'll also find a fantastic selection of handmade textiles and a rotating inventory of vintage and new jewelry. Since I don't buy the same items over and over again, each piece is truly one-of-a-kind.

So, come explore MaddFinds and discover something special. Get it while you can – these treasures may not be around for long!
